One of the trickiest things in the game is to make a good landing. You can do this by releasing during the jump in 1080° Snowboarding, then moving your snowboard 20° upwards, and initiating the landing. This way, you won't tumble when you hit the snow again!

Unless you're in a mode focused on tricks, speed is the name of the game here. To be fast, two rules apply. 1: Constantly crouch to reduce air resistance. 2: Avoid the jumps from 1080° Snowboarding.
