Diddy Kong Racing is one of the best games for the N64. It is the only kart racer that can compete with the Mario Kart series. Best kart racer for the console
Diddy Kong Racing is the best kart racer on the N64. The game offers a lot of content, even for a single player, who can participate in:

Diddy Kong Racing is an absolute gem for the N64! The game follows the same principle as Mario Kart. Your goal is to finish the race in first place while being able to hinder other players by firing various items. A fun addition to this game is the fact that you can not only use a kart but also a hovercraft and an airplane, adding more variety to the gameplay. Diddy Kong Racing has it all in one!
Diddy Kong Racing may seem like a typical racing game. But what you don't realize when you start the game is that it's actually a kind of adventure game. When you begin, you arrive at a sort of square where you can discover all sorts of things. There are also a few large gates visible right away. If you head over there, you can start racing. But the most fun part of this game, of course, is the diversity. In this game, you can race in 3 different things: a car, a hovercraft, and a plane. This allows you to use tracks multiple times, but for example, in the air. As you can tell, this is truly a top game, that's why I definitely recommend this game!

A tip to defeat Wizpig is not to focus on Wizpig, but on your own lap time. The first time you race against Wizpig, it's all about the zippers (speed boosts). Learn to use them all and forget about Wizpig. For the second race against Wizpig, it's all about skill. If you can navigate this level without too many bumps, you can win. I defeated Wizpig with just a few speed boosts and using Tipsy, the slowest (but most agile!) character.

When you first want to defeat Wizpig, you should choose Bumper the Badger. Grab all the zippers (speed bars) and make sure not to miss more than 1... Otherwise, you won't make it! This way, you can easily beat him in Diddy Kong Racing.
For the 2nd Wizpig, you should use Diddy the Monkey. Get a turbo start at the beginning (Get ready... wait... a+a). You'll see a blue flame and shoot forward. Grab the first balloon and stay low. Now, pick up the 2 red balloons. When you're close to him, shoot the homing missile balloon. Once you enter the cave, grab a blue balloon. Ignore all other balloons until you see a protective balloon. Use this when the missiles start firing at you. Repeat this for the next 2 laps. Just before the finish line, grab a red balloon and... You can defeat him!!!!!
