Part of my childhood
In the past, Disney's Tarzan was one of my favorite games on PC (the N64 version is identical). This game follows the movie's storyline, but can also stand on its own; you don't need to have seen the film. The levels are diverse and filled with all kinds of animal species. Every now and then they are also darn difficult, especially if you're trying to get the many collectibles, so although Disney's Tarzan is fun for kids, it's definitely not a dumb or easy game. The bonus levels are enjoyable, and it's also fun to play as both young and old Tarzan. All in all, a very enjoyable game, highly recommended, something that doesn't apply to most movie tie-in games!

Disney gem
This game is based on Disney's Tarzan animated film. Keeping this in mind, you can already guess that Disney's Tarzan is aimed at children. The game looks very nice and is quite easy to control. Just like in the movie, you see how Tarzan develops from a baby into a strong man.
In the game, you have to fight against various dangerous animals and people, swing on vines, and slide over logs. The levels are not very long, but each level has its own charm.
This game is definitely recommended for young children. For adults, it might be a bit easy, but you will definitely enjoy it.

Fun but short
Tarzan is a very fun game that follows the story of the movie. The game features good graphics and sound, smooth controls, and beautiful levels. Unfortunately, the game is quite short.

Despite the bad reputation video games based on movies often have, this is truly an enjoyable game, suitable for both young and old. If you're looking for a fun platformer, be sure to give Disney's Tarzan a chance.
