Progressive for its time
FIFA 64 is one of the first N64 games released in Europe. It's also the first football sim on the N64. You have a choice of about 150 different teams to compete in 6 different championships. The controls, however, are quite tricky, especially if you're used to modern Fifa games, but practice makes perfect. Furthermore, this game was definitely progressive for its time and certainly set a tone at the beginning of the N64 era.

Not exceptional
FIFA 64 is a fun soccer game, but it's just not exceptional. The graphics are not striking, neither positively nor negatively.
The gameplay is simply soccer, nothing else. The controls are very easy to use, and you have plenty of choices when it comes to the number of teams. For soccer fans, it's an enjoyable game, but you're better off with one of the sequels.

Nice, but FIFA98 and 99 are better
FIFA 64 was the first FIFA for the N64. Unfortunately, this game had many flaws. It did not fully utilize the power of the console and also did not meet the quality that EA delivered in most FIFA games.
This game is not bad, but FIFA 98 or FIFA 99 are simply much better.

One of the worst football games
FIFA 64, yet another game where they felt the need to add 64 to the title, but it doesn't save this game.

It is one of the worst football games on the system with a terrible framerate! World Cup 98 does everything better!

The graphics can be described as pretty worthless and the game offers hardly any innovation.

Steer clear of this one and opt for a different football game instead!
