Pokémon Stadium 1 is too "overrated" and actually not that good
When the game Pokémon Stadium was released, everyone wanted to have the game, finally you could see Pokémon in 3D and let them fight in 3D! But... If you look a bit further.. Yes, the game is fun, but how good is the game really?

First, the graphics, they are just fantastic! The 3D models of some Pokémon are just slightly less well-developed. Also, the music. The music is simply the music from the Gen-1 Pokémon games that have been slightly altered, but not everything has been taken from the Nintendo 64 in terms of sound. Additionally, there is a very annoying commentator.
The gameplay.. You choose a few Pokémon, you fight against other Pokémon and occasionally play some mini-games.. That's all there is, there is no story or anything like that. The controls of the game are very simple, you select the attacks with a single button instead of navigating through a menu. You end up watching the 3D animations of the attacks longer than you actually do anything.

Pokémon Stadium is therefore a Pokémon game with good 3D graphics; but the sound, gameplay, and controls could all have been better. It could have used a bit of a story in the game as well. Personally, I feel like they were experimenting with Pokémon Stadium for what Pokémon Colosseum (GameCube) should have been.

A must-have for every fan!
Pokémon Stadium is the very first game where Pokemon can finally battle in 3D! Just like Ash in the series, you can battle with your Pokemon against each other and against the computer. This creates an amazing gaming experience.
The graphics are exceptionally well-developed, especially compared to some other N64 games. In addition to the 'standard' battles, there are also various mini-games.
Do you have a GameBoy with Pokemon Red, Blue, or Yellow? Then you can link these games via the Nintendo Transfer Pack, allowing you to battle with your Pokemon from those games in Pokemon Stadium.
In short, Pokemon Stadium is an essential game for every Pokemon fan.

Great game for the true Pokémon fan
Pokémon Stadium is a strategy game based on the world of Pokémon. Pokémon Stadium is a very unique game because you can connect your Pokémon games from the Gameboy to Pokémon Stadium. This is done using a transfer pak. This way, you can play all your Gameboy games (Red, Blue, and Yellow) on the TV through this game.

The goal of Pokémon Stadium is to battle in an arena with your Pokémon against other trainers in the game. The Pokémon you've caught on your Gameboy can be used for these battles! This brings your Pokémon to life with the 3D graphics and special effects when the Pokémon perform their attacks.

Pokémon Stadium has received many sequels such as Pokémon Stadium 2, Pokémon Colosseum (GameCube), and Pokémon Battle Revolution (Wii).

Every N64 owner must have Pokémon Stadium
Playing Pokémon Stadium will keep you entertained for hours. The game truly shines when played against a friend. If you own an N64, you really need to have this game. The only downside I could find is the annoying commentator, but luckily you can turn that off.

Nostalgic 3D battles and strategic depth
Pokémon Stadium for the Nintendo 64 is truly a nostalgic classic that brings the world of Pokémon to life in exciting 3D battles. It was fantastic to see my favourite Pokémon battling it out in spectacular arenas, complete with dynamic animations and an iconic soundtrack. Although the game doesn’t have an extensive storyline like the RPGs on the Game Boy, the use of strategy in battles is a refreshing challenge. What makes it even more special for me is the option to import your own Pokémon from the Game Boy games via the Transfer Pak. This adds a personal touch and makes it a valuable addition to the Pokémon experience.

Additionally, Pokémon Stadium offers a fun selection of minigames, which are particularly entertaining in multiplayer mode. You can have hours of fun with the various minigames, such as Clefairy Says and Magikarp’s Splash. They make the game more versatile, as you’re not just battling but can also relax with something completely different.

Despite some limitations in the depth of the battles, Pokémon Stadium remains a timeless title that beautifully captures the essence of Pokémon battles. It’s a game that continues to entertain fans, and I believe it offers many people a lovely trip down memory lane. The charm of the game, combined with the ability to breathe new life into old Pokémon adventures, makes it a must-have for any Pokémon enthusiast.

Give a Pokémon a Nickname in the Game Boy version. You have to shuffle the name around, for example, Mew-Two, TwoMew, ZardChari, Psy-Duck. If you upload these Pokémon to Pokémon Stadium, they will appear in different colors there. How about a red Mewtwo or a blue Charizard? Everything is possible!
