Masterful Zelda title, a true classic!
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, released in 2000, is a masterpiece that elevates the Zelda franchise to new heights. The game retains the familiar elements of adventure, puzzles, and epic battles as introduced in Ocarina of Time, but adds a unique time mechanic that transforms the gameplay. Link must save the world from the threat of the moon about to crash, and he has only three days to do so. The constant time pressure adds an extra layer of tension and urgency to the game.

Majora's Mask also stands out for its dark atmosphere and deep storyline. The various masks Link can wear offer engaging abilities and change the interaction with the world around him. The music, as always in the Zelda series, is phenomenal and contributes to the emotional impact of the story.

While some fans may find the unconventional structure and tight time limits challenging, this actually adds to the unique appeal of the game. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is a brilliant piece of game design that holds both nostalgic value and remains relevant as one of the most daring and memorable titles in the Zelda series.

Unique
Majora's Mask is the most unique game in the Zelda series. For example, you don't play in Hyrule, but in Termina, and a large part of the game revolves around obtaining new masks with special abilities. The only downside to this game is that there are only 4 dungeons, but the large number of sidequests makes up for this.

My favorite Zelda
If you're a Zelda fan, this is a must-buy whether you purchase it on the virtual console, on the Collectors disc for the GameCube, the 3DS remake, or the coolest way, of course, on N64.
This game basically has it all: a good story, fun side quests, amazing characters, and even some cool dungeons (although the middle two could use a bit more work).
The game features a 3-day timer; you need to complete a dungeon or obtain an item within those days. After that, you can go back in time and keep your key items, which are essential for the main story.
Side quests need to be completed in one go, as well as dungeons, but you can go back in time after completing them because you keep the key items.
The game might sound a bit complicated, but the first half hour of the game introduces it very well. Expect The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask to be one of the best Zelda games. Or simply the best game you've played in a long time!

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask has an amazing story
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is a game that you simply cannot miss as an N64 owner. In fact, if you don't have an N64 yet, this is definitely a reason to snatch one up cheaply. The game truly has an amazing story that completely captivates you!

Unique game
This game, like Ocarina of Time, is set in a 3D world. In this game, you have to save the world from destruction within 3 days, as the moon is about to crash. What other game has such an original storyline? Besides this plot, everything is so well-crafted. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is a great addition to anyone's game collection.

A good follow-up to Ocarina of Time, even though it was rushed to completion.
Ah, Majora's Mask. My favorite Zelda game, truly. Where do I even begin? Well, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask is the sequel to Ocarina of Time, which was originally meant to be an expansion of Ocarina of Time for the N64 Disk Drive (if I remember correctly), but since that never came to fruition, it became its own game. Despite the rushed development (and Nintendo themselves not holding it in high regard), it turned out to be quite a successful product. It's like... an upgraded version of Ocarina of Time, but don't get me wrong! It's completely its own game. It tells a very well-crafted, albeit dark story with plenty of sidequests to keep it truly an open-world game. However, the downsides are that without the sidequests, the game is quite short and it can be quite challenging. There are moments in the game where you really have to execute a perfect run to have just enough time to complete it, and not everything is always fair. But once you overcome those moments, it feels truly rewarding. Like you've achieved a battle or goal after all that time.
In short, it's truly a must-have if you're a fan of Ocarina of Time and enjoy a bit of a challenge.

A Truly Fantastic Sequel!
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask was a real success. How do you follow that up? Initially, there were no plans to create a sequel to the game. The idea was to expand Ocarina of Time with more "dungeons," more "equipment," etc. (referred to as Ura Zelda.)
However, the decision was made to create a new Zelda game instead. Majora's Mask takes place not in Hyrule, but in a parallel world called Termina. Here, all the characters from Ocarina of Time can be found, but with different names and personalities. The game borrows a lot from Ocarina of Time but improves on it in many ways. The game only has four "dungeons," but compensates for this with a plethora of "side quests" in the game. These add more life to the world of Termina and its characters. You also have 3 days to solve everything in the game. Each character has a "schedule," and you must follow it and solve as much as possible for them. When time runs out, you can reset it with your Ocarina, starting back at day 1. (Then you have to redo many things; you only keep important items, like "Masks" and "Equipment.") A significant part of the game is the "Masks," masks that Link can wear, transforming him into Deku Link (Mask of the Deku Scrubs), Goron Link (Mask of the Gorons), and Zora Link (Mask of the Zoras). This allows Link to traverse various terrains, such as water with Zora Link, leap over large chasms with Goron Link rolling at high speed, and fly with Deku Link using flowers that act as propellers. (And also shoot snot from your nose because... why not? xD) Ultimately, you must face off against the Skull Kid, a random (less important) character in Ocarina of Time, who now plays a significant role after stealing the "Majora's Mask" from the Happy Mask Salesman (also a less important character in Ocarina of Time. Just between us, I love these kinds of things xD, and the Happy Mask Salesman is genuinely creepy, so it's fun to see how he evolves in this game.) The Skull Kid is now possessed by the "Majora's Mask" and wants to blow up Termina with... the moon... okay? And the moon also has a face? .. okay.. The game can be a bit weird at times, but that's what makes it so great!!
It's truly an absolute masterpiece, just like Ocarina of Time! Which game is better now entirely depends on your own opinion, but I'm sure that both games are real "MUST-PLAYS"!

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is once again a masterpiece
Wow, Nintendo has really delivered a masterpiece here! The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask features deep gameplay, amazing graphics, and a perfect magical atmosphere. Together, these elements form an (almost) perfect whole for a Zelda game. It's slightly less than Ocarina of Time, but the difference is minimal. Majora's Mask is just the kind of Nintendo adventure that grabs the player from the start and never lets go.

Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask is definitely a top-notch game
I definitely consider The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask a top-notch game for the Nintendo 64. I even prefer it over Ocarina of Time. I also find the difficulty level of this one slightly higher than its predecessor. Moreover, visually, this game has been updated in a positive way.

The masks in Majora's Mask are a fun addition
Zelda Majora's Mask is the sequel to the game that many consider the best game ever, and this game is certainly good as well. The addition of the masks is nicely done, and the dungeons are well-developed. However, if you haven't experienced Zelda before, I recommend starting with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time first.

Better than its predecessor
Majora's Mask is absolutely my favorite Zelda game. In my opinion, the game is much better than its predecessor Ocarina of Time. The game features the most interesting, complex characters and storyline of any Zelda game. The mask transformations truly add a new dimension to the game, and the dungeons, while less frequent than in most Zeldas, are unique and diverse. Defeating the bosses is incredibly fun (I think I've battled Goht at least ten times) and the world is beautifully designed. Each location feels distinct (which can't be said about Ocarina of Time). Add to that the most side quests in any Zelda game, and you have my favorite Zelda game!

Great story, lots of mini-games, extensive equipment, masks, and weapons.
I think it's a very enjoyable and original game. It features a fun story with plenty of mini-games, from chases to shooting down squids.
Link also has a wide range of options when it comes to equipment, masks, and weapons.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is definitely worth the money.

In Zelda Majora's Mask for the Nintendo 64, you can collect masks. Once you have them all, you need to head to the room for the very final boss. This is when you get sucked up by the moon. Once inside, head towards the tree in the center where you'll find some children. Talk to each of them except the one wearing Majora's Mask. You'll need to give masks to the children to play their game. Each child will present you with a challenge that you must complete successfully. Keep doing this with each child until you've given away all your masks. Eventually, you'll receive the Oni-Link mask, and once you put that on, you'll be practically invincible.

Personal tip:
How do I find all 15 Stray Fairies in the Stone Tower Temple?
Annemarie Postma
55 jaar
Hooray, I made it to the Stone Tower Temple. Let me tell you what you need to do to get in. (It took me 11 days to get from the previous boss to the actual Stone Tower Temple.) Truly a journey to hell, indeed. So, after visiting the cottage in Ikana Canyon and the spring with lots of supplies, fish, blue potion, money, water, ants, bombs, deku nuts, and defeating the King of the Ancient Temple, finally, you can enter the Stone Tower Temple. But first, you need the Elegy of Emptiness to place a soldier on switches, which is a requirement to play this challenging temple.
"Crates, crates, crates," said the English Walkthrough. Indeed, all Stray Fairies in this temple are in crates and need to be fought for. But we are the hero Link, right? With his serious, cool face, we fearlessly enter the battle alongside him.
Start this temple by keeping your eyes wide open because in some rooms, there are up to 4 crates, some of them upside down because you can flip this Stone Temple. I assume you already have the Light Arrow by now.
Soar to the Stone Tower. Play the Elegy of Emptiness on the switches as Goron, Zora, and Link. The sky bridge to the Stone Tower appears. Let the battle begin!
You enter a central hall through the corridor. There are doors to your left, right, and in front of you. The map indicates that there are 3 crates here. If you jump down into a basement, you can immediately activate a sun switch with your Light Arrow. A crate appears upside down. If you feel distracted by the Real Bombchu and the Dragonflies, you can get rid of them with a bomb and an arrow. Activate the yellow eye with an arrow. You do have fairies, bombs, arrows, and magic with you, right? A crate appears. Open it. Your 1st Stray Fairy!
Oh, don't forget to slow down time; you'll need those 3 days. If you pause the game, time stops. Now take the first door on the right. Shoot a Light Arrow through the Sunblock. In a crate to the right, there are only 5 rupees, probably used to be the map. Walk through the corridor into the first room. I named this the 'stone-bridge' room because there is so much to do here, even upside down.
Standing on the bridge, you see a yellow eye switch in the ice. Thaw the ice with your fire arrow. Another crate upside down. According to the map, there are 2 more crates. Dive as Zora and find a switch at the bottom. Pressing it reveals another crate upside down, this time underwater. How funny, that sound underwater!
The door at the end of the corridor cannot be opened. So, swim underwater through the tunnel under the bridge to reach the next room. Let the Dexi hands throw you onto the ledge. Now a crate is ready. Inside is your first key!
The map tells me that there are 3 crates in this room with the Dexi hands. Shoot a Light Arrow at the visible Sunblock (There are 2, but you can't reach them). Hmm, how do you get to the other ledge? Let me try an ice arrow. Yes, it creates ice platforms. Bomb the Armos blocking your way and you'll see a Crystal Switch. Hookshot to it, and a crate appears on the other side behind the other Sunblock. Can't reach it now.
Back to the 'stone-bridge' room because I have a key now. Through the newly opened door, you enter a large room where you'd better put on your Stone Mask because the Black Bows are annoying (thanks, English Walkthrough).
The map indicates that there are 2 crates. Shoot a Light Arrow at the leftmost sun switch on the right side. A crate appears. Your 2nd Stray Fairy! In case you didn't know, they are light yellow, my favorite color.
Now thaw the 2 Sunblocks present with your Light Arrow (the first time you need to use your Shield). Now you can access another crate, your 3rd Stray Fairy. Punch a stone Goron blocking your way and you're there. And you gain access to the next room.
I recall that we now enter a room with one of the hardest-to-catch Stray Fairies. You need to perform your Goron Pound on a switch at the beginning, roll through fire as a Goron in a U-shape, and then press another switch on the other side before the fire reignites. Let's first go to the alcove as Deku Link. The map indicates that there are 2 crates there. A crate is already waiting in the alcove. Your 4th Stray Fairy and next to it, a bunch of rupees, uh, sorry, roops!
Unfortunately, the Goron Pound doesn't work; I'll try again later. I can continue for now. Proceed as Deku Link through the air currents to the next door. Now Garo Master appears. With your ice arrow and side attacks with your sword, you should be able to defeat this enemy. The first time, a Light Arrow appears in a crate.
But now a door opens to the next room. You've almost completed a circle back to the Central Hall! Climb up in the small room, jump over a gap, defeat the creature you recognize from Woodfall with your Hookshot, and walk to the next door. In the next room, defeat the enemy by shooting its blue eye, which turns yellow. In the crate that appears, you find your 5th Stray Fairy!
Through the door, back in the Central Hall, we take the other door, seen from the beginning on the left. There's a crack in the wall opposite you. Place a bomb there. Grab the crate and place it on one of the switches. Press the other switches down by playing the Elegy of Emptiness, so a large fence rises. In the courtyard where you arrive, defeat bushes for much-needed energy. Further ahead, there's a patch with a color difference. Place a bomb on it and fall into a pit. Your map shows that there are 4 crates in this room. First, activate the Sunblock. Then defeat 4 statues as Goron, and a crate appears in the fire. Inside is a key. In the back is an alcove, now containing only rupees. Maybe you should get a compass first. And those other 2 crates? I only see a Hookspot on the ceiling. Hookshot to it and you'll reach a nook. One crate contains your 6th Stray Fairy!
Quickly return to the courtyard. Now you can pass through the closed door. Aha, now you're in the room with the Dexi hands! Quickly shoot a Light Arrow at the Sunblock, bomb the Armos, and your crate is ready to be opened. Your 7th Stray Fairy! This seems like the right moment to flip the Temple because I've covered this route already.
So, back to the beginning, soar through the corridor and activate the red eye with a Light Arrow. Play the Elegy of Emptiness three more times, and the blocks are back in place. Shoot a Light Arrow into the red eye, and the world turns upside down. So funny. The music even plays backward.
Back into the corridor. A crate is waiting in the Central Hall, and inside is your 8th Stray Fairy! Only a door is now on your right. Aha, the Sunblock again. Light Arrow in it. Then you're back in the 'stone-bridge' room, now upside down. Immediately fly as Deku Link to the other side via the underside of the bridge. In an alcove, there's a crate. Your 9th Stray Fairy!
Now fly above the stone bridge into a corridor. There's a switch inside. A crate appears. Go back and defeat the creature you recognize from Woodfall. Open the crate. Aha, a key. To your left is another switch. Keep it pressed with your Elegy of Emptiness. Fire disappears elsewhere. Inside the crate is your 10th Stray Fairy!
Another sun switch. Light Arrow in it, and a crate appears upside down. Now go up with the wind current, and on the left, you can open a door with your key! Next room. Light Arrow in the red eye, and the room flips. Roll as Goron and shoot another Light Arrow in the red eye. Now you can proceed. Next room. Rotate the block 3 times to fill the hole. Same story, but now as Link. Next room. Defeat the Wizrobe in one minute with your ice arrow, and another crate appears! Hookshot up to it. Your 11th Stray Fairy!
Through the carved stairs to the next room. Fly as Deku Link to the other side. Then fly to the alcove. Your map indicates there's a crate there. Stand on a switch. Then find a crate with a key. You can ignore the Armos. Before flipping the Temple again, take the path to the right from the entrance you came from. You'll reach the Central Hall where you can now jump into a cage with a switch. Place a bomb under the Armos with a red eye present. Standing on the switch reveals a crate. Hookshot to it. Now you can pass through a closed door and you have a key! You encounter another blue-eyed monster that turns yellow when hit. Shoot a Light Arrow in it and strike. After a while, it vanishes. A crate appears. Ah, the Giants Mask!
Soar one more time to the entrance and flip the Temple. Now back to the 'stone-bridge' room, hopefully for the last time because I only have 1 day left! Back at the bottom in the Central room, there's a crate waiting for you, your 12th Stray Fairy! In the 'stone-bridge' room, indeed, your 13th Stray Fairy is in the crate you reach as Zora.
Then you return to the room with the Goron Race. This time, I finally made it after trying countless times! You receive your 14th Stray Fairy! Next, you enter the small room after the hall where you defeated the Garo Master, and at the bottom, there's your last crate. Your 15th Stray Fairy!
Soar to Ikana Canyon. Great Fairy says, "Compassionate young one. I am the Great Fairy of Kindness. I give you the Great Fairy's Sword." You receive the beautiful sword with black roses on the blade!

In your mask menu, you see the Keaton Mask, the Bremen Mask, the Bunny Hood, and the Don Gero Mask lined up next to each other in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. This may seem insignificant, until you realize that these represent a fox, a bird, a rabbit, and a frog, which happen to be the members of Team Star Fox... Could the arrangement of these masks be referring to Fox, Falco, Peppy, and Slippy?

How do I find all 15 Stray Fairies in Great Bay Temple?
Annemarie Postma

Tough, tough, tough. It took me 14 days to get through this level completely. So, know what you're getting yourself into! But it remains beautiful. Start by slowing down your pace, so you don't have to rush as much.
Soar to the Zora Cape. Play the New Bossa Nova as Zora Link for Lulu. Hookshot as Link to the palm tree on the Turtle. Let the party begin!
Oh, don't forget to bring sticks, arrows, bombs, and magic. Start your journey well-equipped.
Now you arrive in the torch room. If you light all torches with your burning stick, a chest will appear. Your 1st Stray Fairy! Go through the door. Geez, this isn't a Temple, it's like Tom Thumb in the Waterworks! Keep pushing through with an annoying song playing in the background.
This is the room with the big water wheel. Take the first lift on your left. Jump onto the platform next to it. Defeat a Skulltula, and a Stray Fairy will appear. Your 2nd!
Swim to the big yellow switch. It's already on, so you don't need to do anything. Then swim as Zora Link to the small yellow switch. Flip it. This will create a small yellow water stream you can jump on later. Back at the big yellow switch, you'll see a Stray Fairy in a soap bubble under the first platform. Shoot an arrow through it, put on your Stray Fairy Mask, and it will come to you. Your 3rd Stray Fairy!
Now, take the other lift and the yellow water stream to the hallway leading to the Central Chamber. Look to your left, and you'll see a barrel. Walk around on the path, climb the ladder, punch as Goron, and you'll grab your 4th Stray Fairy.
Assuming you've already completed the Temple. You should have your Ice Arrow by now. Head to the little waterfall across. Shoot an Ice Arrow into it. Enter the room with the yellow and green pipes. Defeat the Blue Tektite. Create ice platforms to reach the green switch. Flip it. Create ice platforms to reach the other yellow platform. From there, create ice platforms to reach under the hole in the ceiling. Once there, aim your hookshot upwards because there's a hookshot spot. Remember, the ice platforms only last for 15 seconds! Once you've pulled yourself up, you'll reach the attic. Your 5th Stray Fairy is in the chest there!
Go back to the Central Chamber. Now, as Zora Link, enter the tunnel with the green and red pipes. One of those tunnels will pull you in. You'll end up in the Dungeon map room. Stand on the lowest platform. Use your Hookshot to pull yourself up to the big chest. Then, shoot as Link to the pots on the other side. Your 6th Stray Fairy is in one of the pots. Lure it out with your Mask.
Proceed to the door on the other side, with your ice platforms because that switch needs to be flipped too. Once you've done all that, you can pass through the Dexi hands tunnel. Swim as Zora Link and use your electric shield to get rid of the Dexi Hands quickly. You'll then enter the hall with the Deku Babas. Shoot an arrow through them. Once you've defeated them all, a chest will appear in the alcove. Your 7th Stray Fairy!
Now, head through the door to the Compass room. Look into the flowing water, and you'll see a pot at the bottom. Break it, and your 8th Stray Fairy is inside!
I won't go through all the monsters now, it's not necessary for this sub-level. Go back to the Central Chamber through the flowing water. Now, head to the tunnel with the red pipe because that switch needs to be flipped too. Turn an Octopussy into an ice platform and jump to the higher level to flip the switch. Now, go all the way back to the Waterwheel room. Once there, you'll notice a small red beam has appeared. Use your Hookshot and aim at the spot on the ceiling. Lower yourself onto the water stream and let it carry you up. Jump onto the high island and flip the red switch. Two streams will flow upwards. Flip the yellow switch, and the water will flow in the opposite direction. Now you can access the other tunnels through the Central Chamber! Enter the tunnel with the green and red pipes. You'll reach a room with another water wheel. Go to a platform where you can stand. Jump as Link onto a vertical lift. Then onto the axle, and then onto a horizontal lift. From there, you'll see a niche with a torch. Try to aim your Hookshot at the chest while the lift moves. Your 9th Stray Fairy is inside!
Then swim back to the platform. Your Dungeon Map will show there's another chest. This time, go all the way to the other side using 2 lifts and shoot an Ice Arrow at the flowing water. Once everything stops, walk over the water wheel to the axle and jump to a wing that is slanted upwards. You need to get higher to see inside the niche. There you'll find the chest you were looking for. Pull yourself up and let yourself be slung inside with your Hookshot. Your 10th Stray Fairy!
Go back to the corner. Thaw the ice. Now head to the green exit. Freeze the stream again and walk over to the other side. Once in the green room, jump on the first seesaw. Walk to the other side to thaw the ice and be lifted up. This is also the path to the exit. Below you, there's a hole in the water. Dive in as Zora Link and roll to the barrel there. Your 11th Stray Fairy is inside!
Now stand on the next seesaw. Shoot a fire arrow at the ice to lift yourself up again. Jump to the adjacent seesaw and repeat. Now you can reach the green switch! Flip it. Walk through the green pipe to what seems like a golden niche. Watch out for the Bomb-chu! Jump up a bit as Zora. Then continue as Link. Jump down into the niche. There's another chest. Hookshot over there. Another Stray Fairy, your 12th!
Now, use the first seesaw to reach the exit and you'll arrive in the Dungeon Map room. Go back through the green and red pipe tunnel to the Central Chamber. There's one tunnel left, the green pipe tunnel. Enter it. Stand on the green inclined pipe and look to the right. Between the wooden poles, you'll find your 13th Stray Fairy in a soap bubble. Shoot an arrow, put on your mask, and it will come to you.
Head towards the exit. In the green tunnel, there's another Stray Fairy in a soap bubble. Punch it as Zora. Swim through it or call it as Link with your Stray Fairy Mask while standing on the green pipe. Your 14th Stray Fairy!
Now, really take that tunnel to the Central Chamber. There's still one pot in the middle at the bottom. Circle around it. Smash the pot. Your 15th Stray Fairy! Phew!
Soar to the Entrance. Go outside through the palm tree on the Turtle. Then swim to the coast as Zora. Use the rock blocks and palm trees on rock blocks to reach an entrance blocked by a large rock. Place a bomb on it, and you'll reach the Great Fairy of Wisdom. A beautiful lilac Fairy, just like all the stray fairies that were also lilac. Your reward will be great. You'll get silver edges around your hearts! Twice as much energy!

How do I find all 15 Stray Fairies in Snowhead Temple?
Annemarie Postma

Play the Song of Soaring to Snowhead. Play the Goron Lullaby to clear the way. You'll enter the room with the ice ribs. Push the block forward and you're in the Snowhead Temple hallway! Here, I'll explain the game as if you've already defeated the boss, which speeds things up a lot.
Take the door to the right, for the left door you'll need to get another key. In the 'wooden-bridge room' you'll immediately see a Stray Fairy in a soap bubble. Hey, they're green now! Shoot an arrow through it and you'll have your 1st Stray Fairy if you lure it with your Stray Fairy Mask. Hey, what's that? Another one appears. It's better to shoot this one from the other side, it's completely encased in a rock in a soap bubble. Your 2nd Stray Fairy.
Now go through the blue door to the left, cross the central room, and head to the 'yellow' door. Slide the blocks to the end of that nice little room and a chest will appear above. You can't reach it yet, it's too high. You can see a door somewhere. There's a chest in the front niche. Inside, you'll find your first key. Now go through the central hall to the red door. Thaw it with your Fire Arrow and now you can enter the other door in the hallway. The White Wolfos room. There's a lot to do here. It's better to defeat the annoying Wolfos so you can take a closer look at everything. Once you thaw out all the ice objects, you'll see what's inside. You can stand on the switch, a chest will appear in the top right corner. Push a block towards that chest, climb on the block, and jump. Your 3rd Stray Fairy is in the chest. Now push the block to the other side of the room, you can also get up there. Hey, there's the door that leads to that little room. Now you can reach that chest. Your 4th Stray Fairy! After returning, clear the path with a bomb towards the Goron Pound Puzzle room. But before heading that way, throw a bomb up to the right of the entrance. There's a chest there, and your 5th Stray Fairy is inside.
As you walk up the corridor, you'll first enter the room with icicles. There's a lot to do here too. First, shoot away the icicles and thaw the ice blocks so you can jump up. On the right, you'll see a strange white curtain. If you put on your Lens of Truth, you'll see it's a niche. Jump in and you'll find your 6th Stray Fairy in a chest! Get another key by smashing the snowball. Open the chest and take the key. Now you can go through the closed door. In the Goron Pound Puzzle room (I learned this from the English version), look up with your Lens of Truth and you'll see a Stray Fairy in an alcove. Shoot it. Your 7th Stray Fairy!
Now use the Pound Trick to reach the door leading to the central room. Cross over to the green door. There's a lot to do there (I'm repeating myself). Thaw out all the ice objects with your Fire Arrows. A chest will appear with yet another Stray Fairy, your 8th!
Once you've lit all the torches, a third green door will appear, take that middle one. Now you'll enter a cell with bars where you can use the Pound as a Goron. The pillar will rise. Leave the room and go down to the basement. Drop down and enter a door. Roll as a Goron through the fire and press a switch. A chest will appear. Your 9th Stray Fairy!
Now go back up the stairs, but first defeat some bushes. There are plenty of arrows in them! Now take the 'blue' door back to the 'wooden bridge' room. Don't forget to thaw out all the ice because a chest will appear with another key. Now take the corridor up. You'll reach the Bombchu room. Stand on the square block and shoot a fire arrow or two through the yellow eye. You'll go up. There's also a stray fairy floating around. Lure it and you'll have your 10th!
Now turn on your Lens of Truth and a staircase will appear in the air. Take it to reach a niche where you'll find your 11th Stray Fairy in a chest!
Then jump straight to the higher area and take the door to the 2nd floor. After smashing all the blue discs, you'll end up exactly right to go to a tunnel with snowballs. But first, roll yourself towards a closed door, you still have a key. Behind it are the Eeno's. It's better to defeat them quickly. In the room, there's another curtain. Inside, there's another Stray Fairy, which you can see with your Lens of Truth. Your 12th! Through the other door, you'll return to the central room. Now go through the tunnel with the snowballs. You'll then enter the room with the Dinolfos. If you defeat them, you'll even get 2 Stray Fairies. The 13th and 14th!
Once you reach the top, launch yourself to the other side. There's a Deku Flower there. Look to the right with your Lens of Truth and you'll see another curtain. Inside is another chest. Fly to the point above it and drop down (see drawing). You'll land in the niche and can free your 15th Stray Fairy from its chest! Now hurry back to the entrance with your Song of Soaring and find the entrance to the Fairy. A beautiful green Fairy will appear. If you received a Spin Attack last time, this time you'll get twice as much magic.
That's your reward for working a bit harder than in the Snowhead Temple!

Easter Eggs and Glitches:
What is the Gamecube Easter egg in the Astral Observatory?
Bramd de Groot
29821
In the Astral Observatory of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, you can find a leaf with a dolphin drawn on it on the bottom floor. This is a reference to the Gamecube, Nintendo's console that would succeed the N64, and which was already in development at the time of this game's release. The dolphin refers to the name that the Gamecube had during its development: Project Dolphin.

How do I find all 15 Stray Fairies in Woodfall?
Annemarie Postma
55 jaar
Go to Woodfall by playing the Song of Soaring. Play the Sonata of Awakening again as a Deku Scrub to make the temple appear. You can find the Stray Fairies in 2 ways. Either right after defeating the other enemies and solving puzzles, or later after defeating the boss. There's already a guide for that, so I'll give you the directions for after defeating the boss.
When you fly into the Woodfall Temple as a Deku Scrub, you'll immediately see a Stray Fairy flying. Put on your Stray Fairy Mask and it will come to you. The 1st one! Remember to switch back to Link! Then, as a Deku Scrub, there's another Stray Fairy in the chest on the right. The 2nd one!
Go through the door to the next room which I'll call 'the wooden stairs room' because there's a staircase from the current floor you're on to a lower one. Handy! Defeat the Deku Baba and maybe go back to the other room again because you'll get a stick from that stem each time.
On the other side, you'll see a Stray Fairy in a bubble between 2 pillars, shoot an arrow through it and it will come to you if you still have your mask on. The 3rd Stray Fairy!
Then, go down the stairs, defeat the other Deku Baba, and another Stray Fairy will appear, the 4th one!
Put on your Deku Scrub Mask and hop over the flowers to the platform on the right via the small bank on the other side. By the way, you'll need to go through that door later. Remember that! In one of the pots on the right platform, you'll find a Stray Fairy. The 5th one!
Now go through the door to the right. Use the Deku Flower in the middle to fly to the chest on a higher plateau that you see. Inside, there's a key that you'll need for these Fairies, you should already have the compass and bow and arrow.
Shoot at the beehive next to you on the wall and a Stray Fairy will appear. The 6th one! Go back to the 'wooden stairs room'.
Now you can open the door that was locked. You're now in the 'wooden bridge room'. At the top, you'll see 2 beehives hanging. One of them contains a Stray Fairy. The 7th one! When you defeat the Skulltula in the corner, the 8th Fairy will appear.
In the water, you'll see a fairy in a bubble. Shoot an arrow through it, put on your mask, and it will come to you. Your 9th Stray Fairy!
The best place to shoot is by the left torch. Go up the stairs. When you reach the dark room, having lit all the torches, you'll have to defeat the Black Boes. A chest will appear with your 10th Stray Fairy inside!
Now, use the Deku Flowers to cross to the other side and arrive in the 'wooden stairs room' through a passage. Stand on the switch and shoot an arrow through the flame on the torch on the wooden flower. It will light up, and the flower will rise. Jump on it, shoot an arrow through the flame to the other torch. Then, use the Deku Flower to reach the adjacent switch, and a chest will appear on the other side. Inside, you'll find your 11th Stray Fairy. Then go through the door by the Deku Flower. Quickly put on your Stray Fairy Mask because there are many Stray Fairies here. You can shoot an arrow into the fire, apparently it's fine, it will just come to you if you have your mask on. You'll find 3 more in the alcoves on the left and right of the stairs. They're all in bubbles so keep an eye out!
Wow, you've found them all, quickly head to the Fairy, exit the temple through the hole in the wall!
