Relaxing strategy game with fun multiplayer.
Worms Armageddon is an absolute gem of the N64. This laid-back strategy game is super enjoyable when you want to take it easy. The goal of the game is to eliminate the worms of another team with a team of worms by using various weapons, gadgets ... In this game, you take turns playing, making it a true strategy game.
In multiplayer mode, you can play together with up to 4 players, using just one N-64 controller! This allows you to play with multiple friends when they come over by sharing one controller. The game runs smoothly and fun is always guaranteed! Cijfer:

Team 17 is back with a top game from Worms!
Worms Armageddon, I actually found out very late that this game existed for the Nintendo 64. I used to play it on PC. When I looked into it, it turned out to be a port from the PC. It's the third Worms game in the series and has also been ported to the DreamCast, PlayStation, Game Boy Color, and now the Nintendo 64.
However, the concept is of course familiar: worms on an island shooting each other to bits. With hilarious weapons like Old Granny, Holy Hand Grenade, or Super Sheep, and so on!

There's so much humor in this game (a worm shooting a bazooka) and it's a turn-based strategy game. So, you also need to come up with a good plan and play tactically.
The graphics are top-notch and it features a fun soundtrack. In addition to solo missions, there's of course a delightful multiplayer option where you can also create your own level. If you're playing it for the first time, try the training missions.
This game remains addictive and is becoming increasingly harder to find complete in box. Definitely worth it!

Entertaining, multiplayer disappoints.
Worms Armageddon is a fun game, especially when looking at the single player options. The multiplayer option in this game is very disappointing. If you're buying this game solely to play with others, you'd be better off finding a game with a better multiplayer function. Furthermore, Worms Armageddon is made in a cartoon style which is very entertaining. Although the graphics could have been better...
This is the kind of game you'd want to pull out of the closet every now and then.
